One Small Step for a Man...

My life is going well.
I finally have a job that I absolutely love doing stuff which keeps me interested and challenges me everyday. I also have a lot of things to my name (electricity, cable, water, etc). Makes me feel like an old(er) man. I have a girlfriend whom I absolutely adore and she absolutely tolerates me. What else could I possibly want?
Oh, I know.
Yesterday I put in my official application for the Graduate School at the University of Maryland (birthplace of Google). I am in the process of getting my official transcript from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico. This is not easy. I swear they act as if I am asking for their first-born (though they would probably give up their first-born before they give me my transcript). Let's see what happens.
Back to my original topic, I applied for the Master of Science in Systems Engineering. It is relevant to my work (meaning they'll pay for most of it) and it is something that seems really interesting. I know my brother will be a little disappointed that I didn't choose to do a MBA (I'm a geek, not a businessman), but he's an Engineer (Aerospace) so I can bug him with questions.
It's going to take a while to find out if I get accepted. so all I ask is that you pray for me (and if you know someone at UMD admissions, bribe them).

I definitely did NOT marry the romantic one of the family! Awwwww, that was so sweet!

Well, love is a fickle mistress.
