My Travels

I've been out of Puerto Rico for only 3 hours now, and I'm already getting my first taste at advanced human civilization. At this moment, I'm at the Ft. Lauderdale International Airport where ALL concourses have free wifi. It's only 802.11 b, but beggars can't be choosers.
The flight over was also very nice. There were only about 25 people on board, so it was quiet and roomy. I think everybody slept on the flight, in fact in one of my bathroom breaks I caught the head Flight Attendant catching a little shuteye in the back.
Today can probably tie for being a great and sad day. I'm very happy to be moving to the US and starting my new career. I'm looking forward to spending more time with my nieces, nephews, brothers and sister-in-laws who live in the area. But on the other side of the course, the move has cost me a lot. I've had to leave behind my friends and my parents in Puerto Rico. I'm going to miss them all dearly.
There is no turning back now. All I can do is look towards the future and work for the best.
